Choose the image setting for the whole store

One setting decides if the preview can use the product image. Another decides how the image fits the print size. Both apply to every product.

← All ways to set the poster image
  1. Open the store settings

In WordPress, open WooCommerce → seeonwall.com. On the Settings tab, find Poster image.

  2. Choose which images the preview can use

Under Use for the poster preview, choose Use the product’s first image or Only an image chosen per product. With Use the product’s first image, a product with no chosen image uses its product image. With Only an image chosen per product, the preview uses only an image chosen on the seeonwall.com tab of the product, and a product without one shows no button.

Choose Only an image chosen per product when your product images are mockups and you set the poster image of each product, for example with Auto setup or a CSV import.

  3. Choose how the image fits the print size

When the image and the print size have different proportions, Fit to size decides what the preview does. Crop and stretch slightly cuts off a small part of the edges and stretches the image by at most 8%. Crop to size keeps the proportions of the artwork, but can cut off its edges. Stretch to size cuts off nothing, but distorts the artwork.

The setting matters only when the proportions are different. To prevent that, use an image with the proportions of the print, or mark the artwork area to fit the print size.

  4. Save

Click Save changes. The settings apply to every product immediately.
