Upload an artwork file

Use a clean print file for the wall preview without adding it to the product's photos. The file goes to Content → Files in Shopify.

← All ways to set the poster image
  1. Open the product

In the app, open Products, then the Posters tab. Find the product and click Edit. Under “Poster image & artwork area”, click Upload artwork file.

  2. Choose the image quality and a watermark

Under Image quality, choose Reduced, Standard or High. Standard is sharp in the wall preview, also when zoomed in. A smaller image is harder to reprint. To draw text across the image, for example your shop name, enter it in “Watermark text”.

  3. Choose the file

Click Choose file and select the image. Shopify processes the file, which can take a few seconds.

The first upload asks you to give the app access to your store's files. Without it, the app cannot upload. The largest file Shopify accepts is 20 MB.

  4. Check the area and save

When the file is the print with nothing around it, click Use the whole image. Then click Save. Auto setup does not change a product with an uploaded artwork file.
