Show the frames that you sell

When you list your frames, the preview shows them with your own names, widths and colours, instead of six generic colours. When you add the script tag to your website, you list them in the seeonwall.com dashboard and name them in the button markup.

  1. Open your frames

Log in to the seeonwall.com dashboard and open Frames.

  2. Add your frames

Click Add a frame. Enter the Name, the Width (cm) and the Colour of each frame. On the frame that previews must open with, select Open previews with this frame. Then click Save frames.

Frame product page is optional: the page that sells the frame. Its domain must be on your allowed domains.

  3. Choose the frames that shoppers can pick

On the same page, under Frames the shopper can pick, choose Any frame, with a custom width and colour, Only the frames above, Only the frames above, or no frame, or No frame — the preview hides the frame controls. The choice is saved at once.

The choice applies to every button that has no data-frame-options.

  4. Name the frame on the button

On each product page, add data-frame-preset with the name of the frame to the button element, for example data-frame-preset="Oak". The preview then opens with that frame. When the shopper picks another frame on your page, change the value, and an open preview follows.

The name must be the same as a frame name, apart from upper and lower case. When you rename a frame in the dashboard, change the markup too.

  5. Limit the frames of one product

Add data-frame-options to the button with the frame names, and null for no frame, for example data-frame-options='["Oak", null]'. If the size of the product includes the frame, also add data-frame-size-included="true".

With one entry, the preview always shows that frame and has no frame controls. data-frame-size-included works only when the list names at least one frame.

When the frame is not right

  • The preview opens without your frame.Make the value of data-frame-preset the same as a frame name, or add a frame with that name in the dashboard. A name that no frame has is ignored.
  • You do not list frames, but your price includes a frame.Add data-frame-default-cm, and optionally data-frame-default-color, to the button element. Shoppers can still add or remove a frame.
